Lisle Area Chamber installs 2014 Board, thanks 2013 volunteers

The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual meeting at the Sheraton Hotel on Thursday, December 19, 2013. The meeting consisted of a wrap-up of chamber activities for the year presented by outgoing Chair, Paula Gleason. Plans for the upcoming year were reviewed by Kitty Murphy, the 2014 Chair. There was also an installation of the new Board of Directors as well as recognition of the 2013 Board of Directors for their leadership and guidance. Committee Chairs were acknowledged and thanked for contributing their time, talent and services.

The volunteer of the year was Bob and Barbara Kelly, Robert Kelly Studio. Barb and Bob donate countless hours and expertise to the Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce events and directory. They take pictures for the Membership Directory, Dinner Dance, Golf Outing, Downtown Cruise Nights, Halloween, Lights of Lisle and Board of Directors pictures. The Ambassador of the Year was Nadine Filipiak, Filipiak Marketing Communications. Nadine is also the chair of Women in Business and serves on several committees. She writes publicity articles for the chamber as well as attending Business After Hours, Ribbon Cuttings, New Member Orientations and other events in support of the Chamber.
