Palatine Park District presents "Winnie the Pooh" film
January 18, 2014 is National Winnie the Pooh Day.
To celebrate, Palatine Park District will present a Family Friendly Theater showing of the animated film “Winnie the Pooh” on Saturday, January 18 at 10:30am at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E. Wood Street, Palatine.
Tickets are $3 per person and can be purchased in person at the box office, by phone at 847-202-5222, or online at www.cuttinghall.org. Convenience fees apply for all online ticket purchases.
This movie reunites audiences with the philosophical “bear of very little brain” and friends Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo, and last, but not least, Eeyore, who has lost his tail. It's business as usual in the Hundred Acre Wood. Pooh wakes up absolutely famished, but has no honey. That sets him out on his journey, which is derailed when he finds a note from Christopher Robin that reads: “Goneout. Busy. Back soon.” But when Owl misinterprets the note, the whole gang is on a wild quest to save
Christopher Robin from the imaginary culprit. It turns out to be a very busy day for a bear who simply hoped to find some honey.
