Mayor to address Mt. Prospect businesses Jan. 9

The Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Annual Dynamic Year Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at Victoria in the Park, 1700 S. Elmhurst Road, Mount Prospect.

The event will celebrate business in Mount Prospect and honor some of the chamber’s impressive businesses and business leaders.

The chamber will welcome new board members and recognize business award winners. In addition to the presentation of the annual business awards, other highlights include the “What’s New in Mount Prospect” address from Mayor Arlene Juracek and success stories from 2013 Young Entrepreneur’s Academy (YEA!) graduates Jeff Blethen and Kyle Blatt of ZzzSock, LLC.

The cost of the lunch is $30 and the deadline for registration is Jan. 6.

The chamber also is asking attendees to help replenish the Mount Prospect food pantry, which will be depleted after the holidays.
