Chicago Marriott Schaumburg Hosts Family New Year's Eve Event

Families can ring in the new year at “Midnight at the Marriott,” a New Year's Eve party tailored just for families with activities for all ages, being held at the Chicago Marriott Schaumburg on December 31, 2013.

The festivities kick off at 1:00 p.m. with a Caribbean themed pool party, complete with a steel drum player, a movie cinema playing family friendly movies complete with popcorn, and shuttle busses to Woodfield Mall for those that want to spend those holiday gift cards.

The New Year's Eve party begins at 7:00 p.m. with DJs, dancing and a high energy light show in the hotel ballroom, where the whole family can dance and have fun. There are rooms for kids with laser tag, a bounce house, arcade games, crafts, and much more. There will be a special New Year's Eve Countdown for kids, complete with a balloon drop, at 10:00 p.m. Teens have their own party with music and a light show, as the pool is transformed into the JWaves Teen Club.

At midnight, there will be a countdown and balloon drop for everyone, including a champagne or cider toast and White Castle burgers to satisfy any late night hunger.

Packages for a family of four are $279.00 and include overnight accommodations, all activities, a buffet style dinner in the hotel restaurant and breakfast in the morning.
