Island Lake group to talk medical pot:

Island Lake’s zoning commission will meet Thursday to discuss medical marijuana dispensaries, which will be legal in Illinois starting next month. Additionally, code enforcement officer Wayne Schnell will talk to the group about local zoning concerns. The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave.
