Mt. Prospect chamber to host Dynamic Year Luncheon Jan. 9

The Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Dynamic Year Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, at Victoria in the Park, 1700 S. Elmhurst Road, in Mount Prospect. This event will celebrate business in Mount Prospect and honor some of the chamber's most impressive businesses and business leaders.

The chamber will take this opportunity to welcome the new board members and recognize Business Award winners. In addition to the presentation of the Annual Business Awards, other highlights include, “What's New” in Mount Prospect from Mayor Arlene Juracek and success stories from 2013 Young Entrepreneur's Academy (YEA!) graduates, Jeff Blethen and Kyle Blatt of ZzzSock, LLC.

The cost of the lunch is $30 and the deadline for registration is Monday, Jan. 6.

The chamber of commerce also asks attendees to help replenish the Mount Prospect food pantry which will be depleted after the holidays. Needed items include: Applesauce, cereal, canned fruits, meats, cookies, candy, sloppy joe mix, spaghetti sauce, tuna, baby diapers, shampoo, laundry detergent, bar soap, paper towels, napkins, female hygiene products, bar soap and toilet paper.

The Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce is a business and community organization.
