Elk Grove Lions Club Peace Poster Contest Winner

Elk Grove Village, IL – Olivia Cichowals, Mount Prospect, is this year's winner of the Elk Grove Village Lions International Peace Poster Contest. The contest is an opportunity for youth to stress the importance of peace, tolerance, and international understanding. Olivia, a 7th grade student, who attends Holmes Jr. High. Olivia's poster is among the more than 300,000 entries submitted worldwide in the 26th annual Lions International Contest. Olivia will be recognized at a future EGV Lions Club dinner. Olivia's believes, “Peace means everyone coming together and that means world peace.”

One grand prize winner and 23 merit award winners will be selected internationally. “We wish Olivia the best in the international competition,” Lions President Vicky Bogolin.
