Man charged with exposing himself in Wheaton parking lot

A Plainfield man with a history of flashing arrests was charged with public indecency after police caught him exposing himself in Wheaton, authorities said.

Jermaine E. Anderson, 35, was arrested Tuesday in a parking lot near East Loop Road and Danada Drive.

Wheaton police said they put his 2004 Chevrolet Malibu under surveillance following “reports of suspected public indecency.” When officers approached the vehicle, they saw Anderson exposing himself, authorities said.

Anderson was charged with two counts of public indecency, a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail, and released on bond.

According to court records in DuPage and Will counties, he has been charged with public indecency at least five other times since 2008.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Investigative Cmdr. J.F. Volpe at (630) 260-2056.
