The Peoples' Bank to sponsor 'A Christmas Carol' again this year

As they have done each holiday season for a number of years, The Peoples' Bank of Arlington Heights will once again serve as sponsor of the month long run of "A Christmas Carol" at the Metropolis Performing Arts Center. This year's production debuts November 29th.

“We are pleased to provide financial support to make this great holiday tradition come to life here in Arlington Heights,” said bank Vice-President and COO Mary Ann Flynn. “As the area's only true community bank we welcome the opportunity to support activities that enrich the lives of our neighbors. A Christmas Carol is something that many families look forward to each year and we're proud of our association with the production.”

As part of the agreement, The Peoples' Bank will fill Metropolis with customers for a sneak preview performance on Wednesday, November 27th. “This has always been a nice way for us to thank many of the families in Arlington Heights who have chosen to bank with us,” said Flynn. “It provides a fun, family event to start the holiday celebration.”

The Peoples' Bank has two locations with full service lobbies in Arlington Heights, one in the downtown area at 41 South Vail, and the other that includes a drive-through at 1104 South Arlington Heights Road. In addition to the annual sponsorship of A Christmas Carol, the bank is also the primary sponsor for the Frontier Days Stampede, the summer long concert series Sounds of Summer, and the National Night Out event in summer.
