Just return excess money to taxpayers

The reserves are taxpayer funds held in trust by the district. It’s not the school’s money.

The ethical and honest thing to do is to rebate the excess cash back to the overtaxed property owners supporting District 214.

I am really troubled by the panic search for shovel-ready projects to spend the money. Giving the excess cash back to the taxpayers would be the better choice in “spending decision” priorities for D214.
