Recycle-O-Rama in Vernon Hills

The Vernon Hills Park District will host Recycle-O-Rama from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 16, at the southwest parking lot of Westfield Hawthorn shopping center, Routes 21 and 60 in Vernon Hills. The outdoor collection will feature an electronics drop-off area as well as an on-site document shredder. The following items will be accepted: CRT monitors, laptops, inkjet cartridges, eyeglasses, cellphones, gym shoes, hearing aids, batteries, televisions, and computer towers. The event is being held in partnership with the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County. Visit www.swalco.org.
