Buffalo Grove offers free smartphone app

A smartphone app for residents and visitors of Buffalo Grove is now available for free in the Google Play store and the iTunes store.

The app is the result of collaboration among nine local government entities, including the village, Vernon Township and the various school districts, library districts and park districts that serve Buffalo Grove residents. It includes an events calendar, Twitter feed, news items and staff and elected officials directories.

To download the app, search for “Buffalo Grove” in the iPhone app store or Android app store.
