Fall festival in Island Lake

The Island Lake Chamber of Commerce will hold a fall festival on Saturday, Oct. 19, at Converse Park, 551 E. State Road. It will run from 1 to 5 p.m. A kids costume contest, pumpkin decorating, pony rides and other activities are planned.
