Turn off the lights when not in use

My wife and I take a walk most evenings and oftentimes go past Buffalo Grove High School. It makes us wonder if we are the only ones noticing the football field lights on with no activity on the field. Not a person in sight! I can almost hear the meter spinning.

I checked my property tax bill. We pay over $11,000 per year on our home. Almost $8,000 of it goes to local schools. No wonder they leave the lights on!

Wake up people. We are being robbed!
