Arlington Artists on Display at the Historical Museum’s Heritage Gallery

Once again, the Arlington Heights Historical Museum’s Heritage Gallery is transformed into an art gallery. Come enjoy the original works of 43 talented individuals who live, work, or enhance the arts within our very own community. Various types of media are presented in the 12th annual Arlington Artists on Display exhibition including: watercolor, oil, pen and ink, pencil, acrylic, mixed media, paper, photographic based imagery, textiles, and wood. Generously sponsored by the estate of Dorothy Seiberg, Arlington Artists on Display opens in the Heritage Gallery Saturday, October 5 and runs until January 26.

The Heritage Gallery and Shop is located on the Arlington Heights Historical Museum Campus at 112 West Fremont Street. The Gallery specializes in local history exhibits drawn from the Historical Society’s collections and local, national and regional traveling exhibitions that explore the broader context of our history. The Heritage Shop offers a selection of historical toys and books, along with local history memorabilia. Gallery hours are Friday through Sunday, 1:30 to 4:30p.m. There is no admission fee for the Gallery, but a suggested donation of $2.00 is recommended.
