Mount Prospect pharmacy hosts weekly health screening clinic

A community health screening clinic will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. every Wednesday morning at Keefer’s Pharmacy, 5 West Prospect Ave., in downtown Mount Prospect. The clinic will include screening tests such as blood pressure, pulse, fasting blood sugar and non-fasting total cholesterol. Village Nurse Jill Heinking will also be on hand to provide advice on managing chronic conditions, diet and nutrition and give suggestions for healthy lifestyle modifications. There is a $1 fee for blood sugar testing and $4 fee for total cholesterol testing. For information, call (847) 870-5680.
