Barrington wins Grayslake Invitational

Freshman Tom Calbi netted medalist honors by shooting even-par 72 at the Grayslake Invitational held at Stonewall Orchard Country Club, helping the Broncos to the team title in the process.

Barrington shot 304 to gain a decisive victory over runner-up Wheaton North (320) and the rest of the 12-team field.

Mundelein was third at 321, followed by Notre Dame (322), Wheaton Academy (326) and Palatine (332).

Complementing Calbi’s round for Barrington were Burke Barsamian (76), Brad Powell (77) and Cole Kempinski and Tim Lim (79s).
