Author to bring insight on aging and faith
Humorous presentation at Covenant Village on Sept. 25 to offer a fresh look at growing older and growing in faith
Author Missy Buchanan will discuss “Aging Faithfully — Finding Purpose in Later Life” when she presents at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Covenant Village of Northbrook, 2625 Techny Road, Northbrook.
Buchanan is the author of four books including “Don’t Write My Obituary Just Yet: Inspiring Faith Stories for Older Adults,” which won an Indie Excellence Book Award.
Buchanan’s humorous presentation on aging and faith will offer fresh ways to think about growing older and growing in faith. In addition to her books, Buchanan writes the monthly column “Aging Well” for the United Methodist Reporter, www.UMportal.org.
She has appeared on Good Morning America, is a regular contributor to ww.MininistryMatters.org, and has written for many other publications including Mature Living, Mature Years and the Dallas Morning News.
