Attempted murder charges dropped against Schaumburg man
Prosecutors this week dropped charges of attempted murder and aggravated domestic battery against a 23-year-old Schaumburg man after the complaining witness recanted.
At his February bond hearing, authorities said an argument between Marcos Milan-Soto and his girlfriend became heated, then turned violent. They accused the defendant of striking the woman and threatening her with a knife.
The woman has since left the area, defense attorney Jim Mullenix said.
