Assisting Hands offers pain management workshop at Mobility Works Expo

Richard Ueberfluss, a physical therapist and owner of Assisting Hands® Home Care locations in Naperville and Hinsdale, will present a workshop on “Pain Management” on October 3, 2013 during the Third Annual Mobility Works Senior Expo and Conference. The October 3, 2013 Expo runs from 11:00 am-to 7:00 pm at the Odeum Expo Center, 1033 North Villa Avenue, in Villa Park, Illinois. Admission is free.

Ueberfluss will join six other health professionals presenting senior health information on October 3rd. His presentation begins at 5:00 pm and will cover: Pain types, Untreated pain, Causes of pain, Special concerns for older adults, Clinical Goals for pain treatment, Non pharmacologic approaches to pain management, Medications, Other Medication therapies and Adverse effects of pain medications.

Health professionals attending the workshop can earn CEU credits.
