Dare to scare at All Hallows Eve audition Sept. 7, 10

Calling all ghosts, ghouls, vampires and zombies -- volunteers are needed for All Hallows Eve: Village of Fear, Naper Settlement's annual Halloween event. If you are interested in being a ghostly goblin, werewolf, Grim Reaper, witch, mummy or other ghoulish creature, auditions will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 or from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10 in the Meeting House, located at the corner of Webster Street and Porter Avenue. Each applicant will be asked to read two to three lines from various character roles. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

“We're looking for Halloween-loving volunteers who enjoy dressing the part, and interacting with people during our All Hallows Eve event,” said Amanda Fehrenbacher, Special Events Coordinator.

The dress rehearsal is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 for the event that will be held from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18 and 19 at the museum, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville.

Non-costumed logistics support volunteers also are needed to help with ticket sales; greeters at various locations throughout the evening including crowd control positions and food sales.
