Tax-and-spend Kane Co. board members

At the last Kane County Board meeting, members voted on funding for the Community Outreach Program established by Chairman Chris Lauzen. The board overwhelmingly voted to support this program, however when it came to funding, a small group did not want to pay for it with grant money but instead wanted to use your taxpayer dollars to fund this program.

It is this group of individuals that are trying to make it difficult for Chairman Lauzen to live up to his pledge to freeze your property tax levied by Kane County. You need to know the identity of these tax-and-spend county board members. Maggie Auger of Algonquin; Mark Davoust, St. Charles; Becky Gilliam, West Dundee; Phil Lewis, St. Charles; Mike Kenyon, South Elgin; Mike Donahue, Geneva; Myrna Molina, Aurora, and Jesse Vazquez, Aurora.

I sure am glad none of these people are my representative. If they are yours, I’m sorry.
