Boat races in Wauconda:

Sign up now to enter Wauconda’s 12th annual Labor Day Cardboard Boat Races. Races will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 2, at Bangs Lake. You can find the registration form and rules at Lindy’s Restaurant, 115 Park St., or at lindyslanding.net. The entry fee is $30 per team before Aug. 30. On race day, the entry fee will be $40.
