Fourth Annual Bikes for Boomer Aug. 24

The fourth Annual Bikes for Boomer Motorcycle Ride on Saturday, Aug. 24, with registration starting at 8:30 a.m.

The family and friends of Thomas "Boomer" Angarola are once again coming together to celebrate the memory of a hard working family man, with a passion for his Harley and to support the Leukemia Research Foundation.

Thomas "Boomer" Angarola passed away in July 2010 after a long and courageous battle with both leukemia and pancreatic cancer. He is missed by his wife, Monica, four sons, Jeremy, Jonathan, Jacob, and James, and two grandchildren Rustin and Clara, and countless friends and family.

The Bikes for Boomer ride will begin at Rosie O'Hare's in East Dundee and will follow at 100-mile route stopping at several establishments. The ride will conclude with an after party at Ray Evergreens Grill in St. Charles.
