Palatine Park District offers Kinder Soccer League

Palatine Park District offers a Kinder Soccer League for children in kindergarten.

The league emphasizes the fundamentals of soccer, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Children will be placed on teams and teams will practice one evening each week for one hour. Practice days and times will be determined after teams are formed. Games will be played weekly on Sundays at noon or 1 p.m. on the indoor turf field at Falcon Park, 2195 N. Hicks Road, Palatine.

The league will run from Sept. 8 through Oct. 27. The fee for the program is $96 for residents and $144 for nonresidents. Shin guards are required; team uniform shirts will be provided.

Registration is accepted online at www.palatineparks.org, by mail, by fax, or in person at Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center and Falcon Park Recreation Center.
