Woman seriously injured in McHenry crash

A Flight For Life helicopter transported a driver whose SUV rolled onto its roof Friday night in McHenry, authorities said.
Emergency crews responded at 7:13 p.m. to reports of a crash on River Road near the entrance to McHenry Dam State Park, according to a news release from the McHenry Township Fire Protection District.
It took emergency crews 10 minutes to extricate the 41-year-old female victim, who was pinned in the vehicle.
She was flown by helicopter to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with serious injuries.
The crash was being investigated by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Department.
