Railroad crossing work in West Chicago

West Chicago’s Washington Street crossing will be closed from Friday, July 26, through Aug. 5 as crews from the Canadian National Railway perform scheduled maintenance at the site, city officials said.

Detour signs will be posted and cars will be directed along Wood, Church and Clara streets. Trucks will be detoured along Roosevelt Road, Route 59 and Main Street.
