AEAR Launches Tales & Treats

Animal Education Animal Rescue (AEAR) is now offering “Animal Tales and Treats” a new community storytelling program that features local, resident animals with real life stories. Their stories will be told while the audience enjoys some delicious treats. The new program is currently available year round for kid and adults five-years-old and up. The event is free and open to the public.

“We are hoping that and Animal Tales and Treats will entertain while educating people about animals”, explains Sandy Kamen Wisnieswki, founder of AEAR. “We've found that the best way to impact change is through real life stories that touch people's hearts.”

AEAR's mission for the last ten years has been is to provide educational programs and materials to the residents of Lake County. The organization will continue its community outreach program, as well as its educational program designed for both schools and birthday parties.

“All our programs are designed to teach people responsible pet ownership. Better educated kids and adults make happier, healthier pets in the future,” explains Wisniewski.

Individuals or businesses interested in sponsoring Animal Tales and Treats Storytelling or any of the AEAR outreach programs are encouraged to contact AEAR. Donations can be made on the AEAR website at www.aear,org or through the mail at AEAR P.O. Box 7343 Libertyville, IL 60048.

Business sponsors making a donation of $100 or more will be given a one-hour storytelling event at their place of business (or public venue) plus mention of their business on the AEAR website and promotion materials.

Volunteers are also are available to answer questions weekly at the Libertyville Farmer's Market on Thursday mornings. Adoptable pets will also be present.

AEAR NFP is an Illinois not for profit 501c humane society. Their mission is to bring animals and people together through education, therapy and rescue.
