Glendale Heights man slain in Maywood

A Glendale Heights man was fatally shot in Maywood over the weekend, authorities said Sunday.
Marquise Coleman, 33, of the 400 block of Sidney Avenue, died from multiple gunshot wounds, a spokeswoman for the Cook County medical examiner said. His death was ruled a homicide.
The shooting took place Saturday night at the corner of 12th Avenue and Fillmore Street in the West suburb.
Maywood police could not be reached for additional information or comment Sunday.
