Village should dump Turkish sister city

Why is Schaumburg trying to placate Muslims by picking a city in Turkey as a sister city?

The sister city program should consider cities with similar values. Why is Turkey even considered? Turkey persecutes Christians and has turned against Israel.

Turkey is turning toward Sharia law not toward democracy. Sharia law and democracy do not mix, they are polar opposites. Come on Schaumburg, get real.
