Wheaton Briarcliffe Blazers at Cooperstown Tournament

The Briarcliffe Blazers are perticipating in the Cooperstown NY July 4th Tournament Week

The team is participating in several games against some of the 100 teams in attendance for this week of tournament.

The Blazers led off their first game with a 10-1 win over their opponents. The team was led in this game by Mira Emma of Wheaton with 3 hits

She hit two Grand Slam Home Runs and a double in three at-bats.

The Cooperstown Youth Hall of Fame will enshrine Mira and one of her home run balls into the Hall of Fame. Owner Lou Presutti III has met with Mira and endorsed her achievements with this honor.

The team is coached by John Schurman of Wheaton.
