Comic strip on prayer crossed the line

I feel that a line was crossed in the June 19 comic strip of Soup to Nutz, by Rick Stomoski.

For him to suggest that wishing and prayers are the same thing, and get the same results, does not belong in a comic strip, read by thousands of young children. His comic strip was neither funny nor had any comedy value, and was only used to express his personal non-Christian beliefs.

This is a Christian nation where the power of prayer and the comfort and results it brings is part of the majority of our nation’s citizens’ beliefs.
