Island Lake commission meets:

Island Lake’s fire and police commission will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave., to discuss buying a recording device for meetings, changes to testing procedures and other issues. Missing files and recordings also will be discussed, according to the agenda.
