Learning to stay safe around dogs

Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy taught young children how to interact safely with dogs, at a program held Saturday at the Mount Prospect Public Library. The experts also showed children how to read canine body language, and gave them some techniques to use when faced with an aggressive dog.

The program was for kindergarten through fourth-graders, with a parent.
