Cardboard regatta draws a crowd for 29th year

The waters of Crystal Lake were filled with cardboard boats Saturday for the 29th annual America’s Cardboard Cup Regatta. The event, at the Main Beach, raised funds for local charities that support a variety of causes.

Participants of all ages, who constructed their boats from 8-foot-by-8-foot sheets of cardboard, competed for trophies.
