Hoffman Estates to host kid-friendly events Friday mornings

The Hoffman Estates Park District and the Village of Hoffman Estates Arts Commission welcome a variety of children's entertainment to the Vogelei Park pavilion throughout the summer.

All free “Friday Fun in the Park” events take place at 10 a.m. on alternating Fridays. The rest of the lineup for 2013 is as follows:

Ÿ June 28: The Rope Warrior: The world's greatest rope jumper!

Ÿ July 12: Zak Morgan: Grammy nominee Zak Morgan's unique songs that tickle everyone's funny bone!

Ÿ July 26: Daniel Martin: A high-energy fusion of comedy, interactive magic and exhilarating escapes!

Ÿ Aug. 9: Smarty Pants presents The Big Balloon Show: The most spectacular balloons ever seen onstage!

Vogelei Park is located at 650 W. Higgins Road, at the corner of Golf and Higgins roads in the central part of Hoffman Estates. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to the park.
