Volleyball champions in Arlington Heights Park District league

High-fives were flying all evening Wednesday, June 11th as point after point came in for each team of the Arlington Heights Park District's Volleyball League. In a grueling, suspense, and adrenalin filled drawdown of the last four teams, Team Six-Pack that took the title of League Champion.

The now League Championship team consists of: Kelly Pickering, Diane Fuller, Jessi Cabanin, Paige Tortorello, Emily Root, and Cheryl Poirier.

“YES!” exclaimed Diane Fuller, a member of the Championship team and Schaumburg resident, as the final point rung in, clinching the title. “Competing in this league is mostly about having fun with a great group of friends,” commented Fuller. “But, the competitive element to it adds so much more and drives me to try harder because I don't want to let my team down. “ Fuller's philosophy paid off with a solid win.

Fuller and the team are already planning out next season but will take the summer to enjoy their victory.
