Motorcyclist injured in Vernon Hills crash

A motorcyclist was injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.

Vernon Hills police and the Countryside Fire Protection District responded to the crash about 4:15 p.m. on the 200 block of Corporate Woods Parkway.

The southbound motorcyclist hit a curb and lost control, falling off the bike into the grassy parkway, police said.

The driver was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
