Bike safety clinic to be held June 8 in Palatine

A Bicycle Safety Clinic and Ride will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at Ost track behind the Community Center, 250 E. Wood St., Palatine.

The clinic is for beginning cyclists ages five to 10. A parent must be in attendance. The Bike Palatine Club will cover safety topics such as bicycle inspection, safe bike handling and rules of the road through a series of exercises. Bike police from the Palatine Police Department also will be at the clinic.
