Deerfield Park District has summer camp openings
Sunny days are finally just around the corner, so for families who have been awaiting signs of summer before signing up their children for summer day camp, now is the time. Deerfield Park District still has openings in most of the 40 or more sections of summer day camps, with offerings for children ages three through middle school and for a wide spectrum of activities. Many of our camps provide bus service and swim lessons. Most run for seven weeks, Monday through Friday; some have options for fewer days. And, all of our camps offer safe, enjoyable opportunities, with supervision by fun, caring, qualified and experienced staff.
Deerfield Park District campers are offered activities and encouraged to be to be creative, active, healthy, physically fit and social. Our Camps include selections for: Pre-School (3-5 years) and Kindergarten age; Art (Grades 3-8); Stage and Screen (Grades 4-9); General Activities (Grades 1-6); and General Sports (Grades 1-8). Sport-Specific Camps include: All Star Sports (Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football and Multi-Sport for Grades 1-2); Volleyball (Gr. 6-8): “First Serve” Tennis (Gr. 1-12); Junior Golf (Ages: 7-17); and Brian Silberman Baseball Camps (Grades 1-6).
After-Summer School Camps offering Art; Cooking; Web Design/Mobile Apps; Robotics/Spybots; Animation; Photography, as well as Sports such as Football, Baseball, Tennis, Basketball and Golf are also available.
Extended Camp Care, for campers in grades K-5, allows the summer camp day to span hours ranging between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Extra Added Attraction (grades K-5) offers two optional / additional weeks of activities when camps end.
