Vernon Hills-based Learning Resources to Host a Lemonade Stand During National Lemonade Days to Raise Money for Pediatric Cancer Research
Learning Resources, a manufacturer of innovative hands-on educational products and toys, is hosting a good old fashioned Lemonade Stand as part of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation's national fundraiser, Lemonade Days. Proceeds will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for all kids with cancer. Learning Resources' Alex's Lemonade Stand is for one day only and will take place on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the South Parking Lot of Learning Resources, 380 N. Fairway Drive in Vernon Hills.
Learning Resources employees are volunteering their time to help with the fundraiser as they fill glasses for thirsty patrons and raise money to fight childhood cancer. This is the first year Learning Resources has opened a Lemonade Stand during Lemonade Days.
