Palatine Historical Society hosts annual Cemetery Walk

Explore Palatine’s cemeteries from 1-4 p.m., Sunday, May 19, when the Historical Society presents its annual Cemetery Walk in Palatine’s Hillside Cemetery, on Smith Road, just north of Colfax Street.

This year’s walk will feature costumed actors telling the stories of early Palatine businessmen.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for Palatine Historical Society members and $2 for children under the age of 16. Tickets can be purchased at the cemetery on the day of the event. Tours will start every 15 minutes, with the last tour beginning at 3:30 p.m. All profits from the event are used for the restoration of grave markers at township cemeteries.
