Stevenson club collecting shoes

A Stevenson High School club called Students Against Violations of the Environment will conclude a shoe collection Friday. Shoes of any kind can be donated, as long as they are in good condition. Most shoes will be donated for use. The soles of athletic shoes will be ground up for playground and athletic surfaces. Shoes can be dropped off in marked bins at the Lincolnshire school between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday.
