Matthew Fink Appointed Senior Lender for The Peoples' Bank of Arlington Heights

The Board of Directors of The Peoples' Bank of Arlington Heights has appointed Matthew Fink to the position of Senior Lender. The announcement was made by bank President Frank Appleby on April 19th.

Fink has been with The Peoples' Bank since it's opening in 1999. As Senior Lender he will oversee administrative, supervisory, and reporting responsibilities related to the bank's credit portfolio. All bank personnel associated with credit functions will report to Fink, effective immediately. “Matt's history of success at our bank, and the broad foundation of relationships that he has built will serve him well in his capacity as Senior Lender,” said Appleby. “This is an important step for us as we continue to expand and improve the services we provide to our clients.”

A resident of Arlington Heights, Fink received his B.S. in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Throughout his tenure at The Peoples' Bank, Fink has played an active role in the community including memberships in the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights and serving on the Board of the Arlington Heights Historical Society. As former Treasurer of the Arlington Heights Downtown Business Association he played a pivotal role in merging that organization with the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce. “I appreciate this recognition from our Board of Directors and welcome the opportunity to help provide greater focus to our lending initiatives. Arlington Heights has served as my personal and professional home for an extended period and I look forward to working with the business community here and in the surrounding area to create sound growth opportunities for them and for our bank.”
