Township GOP has gotten the job done

I can’t help but be amused by the campaign signs I see saying, “Democrats for Lower Taxes.” I’d like to know how this group running for the Wheeling Township Board would lower anyone’s taxes. Do they control the money that goes to the towns, local school districts, park districts, library districts, Cook County, Forest Preserve and the rest of the taxing bodies listed on our property tax bills?

Do they even know what the township board does? The current township board has done an outstanding job keeping costs under control, providing services to the seniors, disabled and others in need. The Food Bank is staffed by volunteers and has provided thousands of needy Wheeling Township residents with food. The bus service helps many who no longer drive to stores, countless doctor appointments, all at a very reasonable fee.

Join me in voting for Mike Schroeder, Jerry Sadler, Scott Saewert, Mike Domrzalski, Robert Hoban, Ruth O’Connell and Kathy Penner and continuing outstanding service to all Wheeling Township residents.
