Huntley 3, Boylan 2: Senior Randi Peterson’s double in the seventh inning was the game-winning hit as Huntley opened its season with a nonconference win. Brittany Koss (2-for-3, 3 SBs) and Jessica Shield (2-for-4, RBI) led the Red Raiders. Haley Spannraft picked up the win, allowing 3 hits with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk.

Glenbard North 4, Bartlett 1: The Hawks (2-1) had 8 hits but couldn’t get enough runs across the plate to win this nonconference game. Holly Pagan took the loss for Bartlett.
