Carol Stream Rotary Seeks Host Families

The Rotary Club of Carol Stream is looking for host families who would like the cultural experience of hosting a foreign exchange high school student in their homes for 3-4 months during the school year.

Rotary Youth Exchange is an international project supported by Rotary International to build peaceful relations between countries through the youth of today and the leaders of tomorrow. The Rotary Club of Carol Stream sponsors local students to study overseas and students from other countries to study at Glenbard North High School for a year.

Host families are sought to provide a family setting for the students to live for 3-4 months. The family must live within the Glenbard North school boundaries. The Rotary Club pays for the student's school expenses plus a monthly allowance.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in a young person's life while making a life-long friend in another country. For more information contact Arnie Biondo at arnieb@csparks.org or Ann Kennedy at akennedy1256@yahoo.com.
