Employee stole from Mt. Prospect nonprofit, police say

A Bolingbrook woman who worked for a Mount Prospect not-for-profit organization has been charged in connection with the theft of more than $15,000 from her employer. Police said Tiffany M. Jackson, 36, of the 300 block of Appling Lane, Bolingbrook, was arrested around 10 p.m. Feb. 21 after a police investigation discovered that Jackson, an employee at Society of Critical Care Medicine, 500 Midway, had stolen $15,287 in 18 transactions between May 31 and Dec. 18. Jackson, a cash receipt administrator for the organization, was in charge of sending refunds to clients. She entered her own debit card account number instead, police said.
