MSL East victories for Prospect, Elk Grove

Host Prospect held Buffalo Grove scoreless through three quarters in a 6-1 victory in Mid-Suburban East girls water polo Wednesday.

Kallie Shields led the way with 3 goals for the Knights and Lauren Broz made 13 saves in goal.

Sara Morosan had BG’s goal.

Elk Grove 16, Vernon Hills 2: Alexa Zajack had 3 goals and Dominika Struk, Jackie Hirschauer, Angelica Ford and Kathryn Noonan had 2 each as the host Grenadiers rolled in nonconference play.
