Relay for Life of Mt. Prospect/Prospect Heights: Register your team!

Cancer never sleeps. That's why Relay for Life teams walk all night in symbolic solidarity for loved and friends who've battled cancer. Now is the perfect time to form a team and show your support at this year's Relay for Life of Mt. Prospect/Prospect Heights.

The event is scheduled from 6 p.m. Saturday, May 18 to 6 a.m. Sunday, May 19 at Prospect High School. 801 W. Kensington Road, Mt. Prospect.

Help us reach our goal to raise $85,000. Each team of individuals walk laps around the Prospect track in celebration of those who have survived cancer and in memory of those who have lost their battle. Throughout the night, there will be entertainment, concessions, a raffle and several moving ceremonies. There's no obligation to stay all night…grab your friends, family and loved ones and get involved today.

To register, visit www.relayforlife.org and enter 60056 to access the Mt. Prospect event page. There you can register a team, join an existing team or make a donation. Cancer survivors are also encouraged to register and will be recognized at the event during a special survivor's dinner and ceremony.
